4-(4,6-Dimethoxytriazin-2-yl)-4-methylmorpholine hydrochloride, or DMTMM, is a highly efficient condenser for amidation, esterification, glycosidation, and phosphorylation reactions. This condensation agent has higher selectivity relative to some commonly available condensation agents. Compared with some commonly used condensation EDC, DCC, CDI, etc., DMTMM has two biggest advantages: 1. The reaction involved in DMTMM can use water or alcohol as the reaction solvent; 2. Compared with the hydroxyl group, DMTMM has a very high selectivity to the carboxyl group.
