O-Benzotriazole-N,N,N',N'-tetramethyluronium tetrafluoroborate (TBTU) is a highly efficient urea-positive peptide condensation reagent widely used in organic synthesis, which can activate the carboxylic acid and amino binding in one step, without the need of pre-activation step. It has the advantages of fast reaction speed, low by-products, low elimination rate, etc. In preparing the anticancer drug lorlatinib, combining TBTU and DBU can significantly reduce the reaction time and increase the reaction yield.
