N-hydroxy-7-azabenzotriazole, abbreviated as HOAt, is a highly efficient functional reagent for peptide condensation, and is also the basic raw material of HATU, a salt condensation reagent, and is generally used as an activating reagent for condensation reactions, often used in conjunction with carbodiimide condensation reagents to improve the efficiency of the reaction and to reduce the degree of deconjugation, especially for compounds with large spatial resistances, and has wide applications in the fields of small-molecule drugs, biomolecules and so on.
